My two eldest children are in their teens, a girl and a boy.
My youngest two are little girls of 10 and 12.
From horse riding to ballet, and girl guides to play practice five times a week for four weeks at a time…this is how we roll in my household.
Survival of the fittest, I say!
I hope you enjoy reading my blog, and commenting.
Thanks for your time!

I'm single. Divorced yes, and single. With children. Four to be exact.
Before having baby number 4, I remember, very clearly, a day on the beach.
Lugging the boogie boards, beach bag, umbrella, and buckets and spades, down to the waters edge, with my huge belly, and three small children in tow...must've been quite a scene.
However, at the 8mnth of pregnancy, you start to not give a dam about people staring,
and the children's enjoyment becomes your main priority, so you just get on with what needs to be done.
So, a little later on, as I was walking down to see what the imaginations of my three little monsters had created, out of the muddy beach sand, I passed a mother sitting on a blanket, with four children.
She noticed me waddling down to my other children.
As she realised that I was preggies with number four myself, we exchanged that knowing look that mother's do, a sort of compassionate "I know what you're going through" look.
I smiled at her, and asked " Are they all your's ? ", hoping for a yes.
She nodded, and smiled.
" How do you do it?" " I'm also having my fourth, and I have my hands full at three."
"Don't worry", she said, " The chaos is really just the same as when you have three."
The chaos is the same... hmmmm. I never forgot that.

Sitting next to my teenage son on the
couch, while he plays " Back to the Future" on the PSP 3 his dad bought him for
Christmas.
{The voices are apparently really those of Michael J Fox, and "Doc", but the graphics look very plasticene-like.}
I am sooo tired today, been working in Medical ward for the last three days, 12 hr shifts, so this is a welcome break.
AAaah 36 hours clocked in, just another 200 odd to do before I am able to send in my hours for NZ.
The girl's are next door transplanting plants from my garden, to plant in Dean, my single neighbours garden. His two daughter's get on really well with my youngest two.

Little Alex got into the car this morning,
with wet socks under her school shoes. She had decided to wash them when she
woke up, herself, as the machine didnt make them clean enough.
Nothing like drying school socks on the dashboard of the car with the heater on full blast, on the way to school. Jon was wringing them out for her too, hanging out the car window. Hahahaha, what fun the mornings can be!
